Welcome to the release of our new History Resource Center interface!

As a current subscriber to either the U.S. or World version, you are already a recipient of the great new features that are included in this release of History Resource Center.The History Resource Center enhancements are designed to:* Make the database easier to use by streamlining navigational elements* Include more topics, persons, events and regions covered in each database with new reference sets* Provide more images, maps and multimedia, which support both new and existing content sets* Update the look and feel, making the database more intuitive and adding new functionalityLook for these new features in your History Resource Center:* Search a Reference Work: Now a user can select an individual reference work within the collection, so search term results can be retrieved in both the general context of world history, or within a specific context (e.g., a search on 'Oil' only within Islam and the Muslim World)* New Tabs: In addition to Reference; Periodical; Primary Sources and Maps & Multimedia, we have added tabs for Bios and News, so users can further refine their results according to the type of content they are seeking* New Sort Options: Now a user can sort their results using a variety of delimiters, including: Relevance, Publication, Document Type, Image Type, Date of Publication and many others, specific to each tab* New Print and E-mail options: These simplify the process of printing documents (such as complete primary source works) and sharing information.Subscribers to the Digital Archive module of the History Resource Center, please note that you also will be taking advantage of the new interface, and will have access to the new content sets as well.These exciting enhancements will be live for all History Resource Center subscribers on the first week of January, 2008.
