Database Downtime

Early this Thursday morning (12:30am), systems will be upgrading MySQL to a new version because of a security concern.

During the upgrade (s/b less than one hour), the electronic resources search will not be available and, of course, none of the administrative functions will work.

While the database server is down, the search pages will display a message advising users to locate resources using the browse lists (alpha and subjects) instead of the search.

CSA Illumina Enhancement: New Browse Functionality

Dear CSA Customers,

A new browse capability has been introduced for those customers who subscribe to any of CSA's Full-Text collections: SAGE Full-Text collections, PsycARTICLES, and/or BioOne Full-Text. The new Browse tab allows you to browse through an alphabetical listing of all full-text journals to which you subscribe, or you can limit journal browsing to a single collection. You can also enter terms in the 'Find a Journal by Title' query box to locate a specific journal title.

Clicking on a journal title displays a list of all available volumes and issues for that particular journal - the journal archive. Clicking on an issue here takes you to that table of contents with links to the full-text articles. At the bottom of each table of contents and the journal archive display, additional search features are available for use.

Please note: This new Browse tab is present only if you subscribe to full-text collections on the CSA Illumina platform.

Please email support@csa.com if you have any questions.
