JSTOR User Services is happy to announce that presentation slides and audio recordings from the January 13th JSTOR Participants' Meeting are now available on the JSTOR web site. The program includes a JSTOR update from Mike Spinella, an Aluka update from Javanica Curry, and a discussion of the upcoming JSTOR platform rebuild from Beth LaPensee. We were also very happy to welcome Laura Brown as our guest speaker, for a discussion of the Ithaka report University Publishing In A Digital Age.

You may find the program agenda, presentation slides, and audio recordings on the JSTOR web site at http://www.jstor.org/about/pm_summary_mid2008.html.

Training Others to Use JSTOR

To help you get the most out of JSTOR, the User Services team offers regularly scheduled online training webinars that are available to all JSTOR participating institutions. Currently, webinars cover the basics of using the JSTOR interface so you can in turn train patrons to use it. Webinars also include a preview of the new JSTOR platform. Closer to the launch of the new platform we will offer special webinars that will focus on the new site design and highlight the new features.

For a list of dates and times and to register for one of the webinars, please visit the training web page: http://www.jstor.org/resources/training.html. Other JSTOR support materials on this web page include a recorded webinar, a downloadable PowerPoint presentation, general informational handouts, short tutorials on searching and browsing, and a list of pre-printed materials that we will be happy to send to you free of charge.

JSTOR also maintains a presence on Facebook. Along with our Search Application and JSTOR Information Group, we now have a JSTOR Page on Facebook. The page is regularly updated with information about new features and tips for using JSTOR.
