RLG database unavailability

All RLG databases will be unavailable on Friday, February 17 for 1 hour from 21:00 - 22:00 Pacific Time (UTC-8), for system maintenance. This includes all databases listed below, and affects access through Eureka, RLIN21, and Z39.50.

GMELIN INorganic chemistry database now available

The GMELIN INorganic chemistry database is now also available via USC's MDL Crossfire subscription (from Elsevier, but on the Univ. of Wisconsin server) along with the Beilstein ORGANIC chemistry compounds resource.

More information on accessing the resources has been added to the S&E Library's Software Web page.

Crossfire is one of those resources that requires users to put a file on their computer in order to access it - interested users should contact Alan Stevens (alan.stevens@usc.edu) or Sara Tompson (sarat@usc.edu) for help with the file. Crossfire is also available on both of the Windows workstations on the first floor of the S&E Library.
