Electronic Resources access

Hello,
I am alerting you to the fact that a new class B IP space (68.181.XXX) is being deployed in ResNet as of June 22. This means that we have to contact our electronic resources publishers and vendors and have them add access for this IP range to all our subscribed resources. Due to relatively late notice to us and vacations we are just starting this process now but are hopeful that we can have the majority of changes made within 2 weeks. Therefore is it possible that users on ResNet in the 68.181.XXX range may not be able to access IP authenticated electronic resources during that time.

Please suggest to those users to temporarily use one of the userrooms, the Information Commons, or other computers not in that range. We should have completed the change for all resources before the start of the Fall semester.

Thanks and please let me know any questions you may have about this.
Marianne

Name change for AMICO Library

Effective July 1, the AMICO Library database was changed to CAMIO. CAMIO (Catalog of Art Museum Images Online) offers rights-cleared, high-quality art images for class projects, art history and studio art programs, course Web sites, lectures, presentations, and research resources.

Users who have bookmarked AMICO will see a message directing them to the RLG Web site for information about "What is CAMIO?"
